Sweetpea + Thyme is a catering company that focuses on weekly meal planning. Our healthy, fresh, and well-balanced meals are prepared by chef Lizzie Glassner and packed with simple oven and stovetop reheat instructions. The meals are fully cooked and require very minimal work to be ready-to-eat. Chef Lizzie works with her clients to create a custom menu each week and we provide a wide variety of cuisines and preparations that the whole family will enjoy. We strive to use the highest quality ingredients in preparing our weekly meals, which includes the use of GMO-free and organic ingredients whenever they are available and reasonable.

Lizzie received her degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Iowa State University. While there, she realized she wanted to further pursue her passion with cooking. She then attended Kendall College in Chicago and received her degree in Culinary Arts. Upon graduation, she secured a position at The Peninsula Hotel in Chicago as a Banquet cook- refining her culinary skills there for nearly 2 years. She then followed her passion of cooking to a luxury catering company- Boutique Bites- where she was a Junior Sous Chef. She was promoted to Sous Chef before leaving to start her own business. Knowing that there was a high demand for prepared meals for busy families, Sweetpea + Thyme was created to bring people together with great food.
